Pickle came to us with his sister Skye when their owner could no longer manage their care. He was not a huge fan of cattery life and tended to hide in his cat tower outside. Although he did not mind human company and the odd tickle, he just didn’t want to be out and about while we were around. Pickle was in poor condition, underweight and with a lot of fur missing.

As soon as we could, we got Pickle into one of our amazing foster homes where with time and patience he has made a lot of progress. At first Pickle was very shy and spent a lot of his time in his own room, in a cardboard box fort, just sticking his head out for fuss and treats, which earned him the affectionate nickname ‘Turtle’!

But nowadays he happily spends time with his fosterers as they go about their daily life. He does not crave affection and is not one for sitting on top of you, but he will nudge you at certain times of the day to let you know he’s ready for some attention! He likes to chat and will meow his wants and needs to you! Pickle will play with toys and in particular enjoys a ‘hunt’ before meal times! He also loves being brushed. All of Pickle's fur has grown back and he now looks beautiful.
