Ways to support the branch

Donations

RSPCA Preston & District Branch has been a registered charity since 1963 but there has been an RSPCA presence in Preston going back over 150 years. Our mission is to rehabilitate cats and dogs that have been subjected to cruelty, neglect, abandonment and abuse, and find them their forever homes.

We are an independently registered, self-funded branch and rely on the generosity of our local community to continue the animal welfare work we love to do.

Despite being a small charity in the heart of Preston, our average monthly running costs are £50k! You can help us to keep doing the work we love by donating to the branch.

Amazon wishlist

Looking for a way to treat the animals in our care while they wait for their forever home but stuck for ideas?

Our amazing animal care staff have created a list of items we often need to enrich the lives of the animals in our care. The list is updated regularly, and has a whole host of items for you to choose from. If you choose to have it delivered directly to our animal centre remember to include a note so we can say thank you!

eBay

In 2023 we launched our eBay shop! All items have been generously donated to our branch. Grab yourself a bargain, and know you’re supporting our charity at the same time. You never know what you may find, happy shopping!

Our shops

We have three charity shops in Longridge, Chorley and Penwortham. Please consider giving any donations you have to one of our shops, to help us raise vital funds for the animals in our care.

Other support

You can also support us by attending any events we host or are a part of. You may see our money tins in your local shops, or donation bins in your local supermarket. Please consider donating, even loose change all adds up! You may also see our QR code around, when scanned this takes you to a secure online donation platform.
