Tequila (or 'Miss T' as she is affectionately known by her fosterers), is our stunning 2.5-year-old tortie girl.

When Tequila first arrived, she was very unhappy to find herself in the cattery, mainly because she was surrounded by other cats which she really does not like! As soon as we could, we got her into a foster home where we hoped she would feel safer, and from day one she became a much happier cat!

Tequila can usually be found on the sofa or a cat tower, just chilling or grooming herself. She also enjoys sitting in the windowsill watching the world pass by. When you enter the room, she chirps away and demands fuss and attention. She enjoys being stroked if she is settled by your side, and she is not so much of a lap cat as a whole-body cat and will happily stretch out across your chest for a snooze. She will tolerate you picking her up to move her a short distance but she does not enjoy being held.

Miss T has a really playful side too; she is a super hunter when there is a flirt pole or ribbon to be attacked and she shows them no mercy! She loves to play with you but will also happily play independently.

Miss T can use a cat flap and litter trays no problem, however she does have a strange habit of mistaking the bath tub for a giant tray… so the bathroom door does need to remain closed!

Tequila did previously live with other cats however past events must have really upset her - since being in foster she has growled at mirrors and her reflection in the oven door and got very upset at hearing a nearby cat fight. For this reason, Tequila must have a home with no other pets and where she can quickly access the house via a cat flap should she feel the need to escape any neighbouring cats.

Tequila has previously lived with a young child, and she has shown herself to be a very sweet, cuddly and playful girl with her humans. While she does have incredible hunting claws, she keeps them to herself when playing with you. Tequila should be fine to go to a home with children of any age, as long as she has space in her first few days to settle in.
