Everyone meet the sweetest little lady Skye, our 7- year- old domestic shorthair.

Skye came to us with her brother Pickle after their owner was struggling to care for them. We quickly realised Skye doesn’t really like other cats and much prefers her own space! (Luckily Pickle didn’t mind either way.) Skye was very reserved and quiet in the cattery but is coming out of her shell now she is in one of our wonderful foster homes, which is lovely to see.

Skye’s foster mum says she settled in quickly and was confident to explore the house pretty much straight away! She loves a fuss and a brush and was demanding extra from the get go! She also loves playing, particularly with mice or wand toys, and she even does the zoomies up and down the stairs after breakfast! She is a very polite lady, asking nicely for treats, gently tapping you on the arm when she wants attention, and making cute happy noises when she sees you!

Despite loving attention, Skye prefers not to be picked up and will come to you in her own time. She is litter trained and can use a cat flap. She is looking for a home with no other pets but could live with children 11+ who will give her space when she needs it.
