Meet Peeta and Effie

Peeta is our handsome 6-month-old tabby and Effie is our beautiful 6-month-old Tortie; these babies came into our care as strays alongside 3 other kittens.

They can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a bit of patience and perhaps a tasty treat or two, some patience and plenty of cuddles for Effie! they quickly begin to come out of their shells.

Once Peeta feels comfortable, he is a wonderfully affectionate and interactive young cat who loves attention and a good fuss from his favourite humans. He’s starting to show an interest in toys and playtime; although he’s still figuring things out, we’re sure that with a little encouragement he’ll grow into a playful and confident companion.

Effie once she feels safe becomes incredibly affectionate and will happily soak up all the attention you can give her. She’s the kind of cat who forms a strong bond and will reward your kindness with lots of love. Effie like Peeta is also still learning how to play with her toys but with time we think she will get the hang of this.

With these two where you find one you can usually find the other; while Peeta gets along well with Effie, he can be unsure around unfamiliar cats and may feel a bit overwhelmed.

These two will benefit from a calm home with plenty of patience. They need a home where their new family will allow them time to grow in confidence and where they can learn to play, trust and get plenty of cuddles and attention when they are ready and can show you how truly sweet, they are.

Both babies are litter trained and can use their cat flaps.

These gentle kittens are looking for a home together as the only pets and can live with cat savvy children 10+ who are able to understand they will need time and space to settle and become comfortable with their new home and family.
