Meet Our Cutie, Jackie!
Jackie is a 4-year-old tortoiseshell cat who has come a long way during her time with us. When she first arrived, she was quite shy, but she has gradually overcome her nerves and has shown us her sweet, affectionate side.
A Little Bit About Jackie
Jackie can be a little shy when meeting new people, so the best way to help her feel comfortable is to remain calm, move slowly, and allow her to come to you in her own time. Once she feels safe and settled, her lovely personality really starts to shine!
When she is comfortable, Jackie absolutely loves a good fuss and will happily head-bump your hands for attention. She especially enjoys having her head and neck scratched.
During her time with us, Jackie has enjoyed relaxing in her bed while slowly building up her confidence to explore the cattery. She has discovered that she loves being brushed and will happily come back for more! She will also come over when called, which is lovely to see.
Although Jackie enjoys plenty of affection, she would prefer not to be picked up or sit on your lap but she will still happily approach you for lots of fuss and attention and is always purring! Jackie is comfortable using cat flaps and litter trays.
Jackie’s Ideal Home
Jackie would be suitable for a home with children of any age.
Due to her shy nature, we feel Jackie would be happiest as the only pet in the home, with no other cats or dogs.
With patience, kindness, and the opportunity to settle in at her own pace, Jackie will make a wonderfully sweet and affectionate companion.
