Meet little Cleo, our 3-year-old, black and white domestic short hair.
Cleo hasn't had the best start in life, coming from a multi-cat house hold, but now she is after a loving home to call her own.
When Cleo arrived in our care she unfortunately spent most of her time hiding in her little hidey beds and wouldn't move from them. However, she is now in one of our loving foster homes and after a couple of weeks she has really come out of her shell, and is enjoying wandering round the house and sitting looking out of the window. Her foster mum describes her as very sweet!
A new family will need to be patient and understanding and give Cleo space while she settles in. Cleo is showing her true loving personality in foster and is now accepting fuss and strokes. It just takes her a little bit of time to realise her surroundings and people aren't that scary.
Due to her lack of confidence Cleo would be better suited to a home where she is the only pet in the household and with cat savvy children aged 16+, who will allow her to have her space and respect her boundaries.
Cleo is litter trained and can use her cat flap.
This assessment is ongoing and subject to change.
