PROFILE
Moose is our 2-year-old friendly Staffordshire bull terrier cross
We don’t know much about Moose’s past as he was abandoned by his previous owner. When he arrived to our centre, he was suffering with a very severe ear infection which required a lot of treatment and medication; which unsurprisingly means he isn’t too keen on his ears being handled. But despite this, Moose has only love and trust to give to everyone he meets.
Our little boy is very food orientated. He LOVES any sort of food you give him. He will happily work for just biscuits as well as any sort of treat. Because of his love of food, Moose learns new tricks and commands quite fast. He knows a lot of his basic commands and each day is learning more and more.
Moose has met many staff and volunteers at our centre and has loved every interaction with each individual person; he can’t get enough of being the centre of attention.
He walks well on lead but when giddy can pull, but he is doing very well with his lead work.
Moose will play with toys every so often but it is not something that he tends to do a lot by himself. This may be something that changes once he gets in a home environment, but he does love playing with his humans with a flirt pole, this is a great way to build a bond with him.
This boy simply loves to work with his humans, he is looking for an active family who are going to keep him mentally and physically stimulated as he is just so clever.
Moose struggles around other dogs, he mainly struggles when they wish to interact with him, he simply prefers his own space.
Moose is looking for a home as the only pet and can live with children ages 16+.
If you think you can offer this crazy boy a home, then please email info@rspca-preston.org.uk to request an application form.

I'm a bright spark
I'm always on the go
I love having cuddles
I'd prefer to be the only animal in a home
