Bella is our older lady; she is our 10-year-old terrier cross.

Bella came in to our care after suffering severe injuries that required her to undergo intensive care, despite this and her age she is full of life and loves chasing her tennis ball around a field.

Bella has been spending some days out in a foster home and going on lovely walks, whenever her foster carer shows up to take her out Bella is ready for that car ride, she loves the journey to the house. Her fosterer can’t say enough nice words bout this girl. She loves cuddling up on the sofa and catching up on her beauty sleep.

Bella is set in her ways and will let you know when she wants something by vocalising at you, she is very calm and settled in her kennel and will often take herself off in to her crate and get comfy in her bed.

This old lady can be a little nervous and unsure of people she doesn’t know to begin with, introductions should be slow and any children she can live with should be 15+ years of age. She can be unsure of people when out and about so will need continued work on her confidence, but once she has become comfortable with a person nothing can stop this girl.

Bella is well mannered and is a smart cookie she knows her basic commands, she is clean in the home and is clean in her kennel, she walks well on lead and she loves a good sniff in new surroundings and exploring, she loves running after tennis balls and bringing them back for you, she will play with other toys if they squeak, but tennis balls are the way to her heart.

We have socialised Bella with other dogs and she is tolerant, but can be a bit short tempered with them she does not like them being too close and getting in her space. This queen is looking to be the centre of everyone’s attention.

Bella is a special girl, she has so much love to give to someone who is home most of the time. She really is a gem.

Bella is looking for a home as the only animal and any children should be of secondary school age and understand when Bella has had enough and wants her own space.
