Timone is our beautiful and sweet natured 2-year-old Shar Pei boy.
Timone came to us through no fault of his own, his previous owner couldn't give him the life he needed. He hasn't been with us too long, and he does struggle with the kennel environment and being left alone.
Timone definitely prefers the company of humans and because of this is looking for a forever home where somebody is around most of the time, and can teach him that it’s okay to be left alone at a pace that he is comfortable.
Timone is a certainly a foodie, so this makes his training super productive, he's taking well to lead work and basic commands since being in our care, and he’s showing improvement every day.
Due to Timone not having the greatest start, some training will need to continue in the home to help grow his confidence further and help him get the hang of home life in general.
Timone can initially be unsure with new people but with lots of positive praise and treats he soon warms to his handlers. He is growing in confidence more and more, and has even started showing his affectionate and loving side.
Timone has been socialised with other dogs onsite and has shown to become quite frustrated. Due to this, he would need to be the only dog in the home. He is looking for a home with no cats. He may be able to be rehomed with small furries/reptile’s dependant on their accommodation location and security in the home.
Timone can live with dog savvy children of secondary school age, that are able to understand Timone can be anxious at times and needs his space when he takes himself off for some quiet time.
If you think you can provide this gorgeous boy the forever home he deserves, then please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request an application form.
