Roxy is our beautiful 5-Year-Old Old Tyme Bulldog Cross

Roxy didn't have the best start in life unfortunately being let down by humans, due to this Roxy arrived very shut down and worried about everything in life.

Roxy was only with us a short while at the centre before we found her a wonderful foster home to gain some confidence. Roxy has been in foster for a few months now and has come such a long way!!

Roxy is a very timid girl so she needs a family that can help her gain confidence and thrive, this isn't something that will happen overnight so her new family need to be patient and willing to put the work into Roxy

Roxy loves playing with her toys on her own which she didn't do at the centre, her foster dad Paul has given her plenty of spaces around the home to ensure she has the freedom to take herself when she needs it. Roxy has been enjoying her life in foster running about and playing in her garden especially with her doggy friends. She is also doing great when out and about on her walks. She will still avoid some people and be slightly nervous but this is something that she will be working on for a while as she learns to trust people again.

Roxy would really benefit from a home with another dog that meets her energy to help boost her confidence - In her current foster home she is living with two small breeds Harley and Frank who have taken her under their wing and they've given her the confidence she needed especially when on walks, which she now cant get enough of.

Roxy needs an adult only home where they can respect Roxy's space as well as understand she needs boundaries whilst settling in.

Roxy is still working on her toilet training so her new family need to understand that this is a working progress and there may be some accidents in the home.
