Meet Jaffa, our handsome 7-year-old white and ginger boy.

Jaffa came to us after his previous owner went into a care home.
Since coming to us poor Jaffa has been very shy/nervous and shut down. This nervous soul does spend his time either in the comfort of his fluffy bed or in the hidey bit of his cat tower.

Jaffa is still learning to trust new people, and he is still learning how to accept affection and to trust us that we mean no harm. However, he does slowly tolerate some strokes and some chin/neck tickles but he is still very unsure and does let out a few quiet meows, over the last week Jaffa has gained some confidence and is becoming quite happy having the affection and strokes but is still quite unsure at first.

Due to Jaffa’s nervousness and unsureness, we haven’t tried grooming him yet as we don’t want to put too much pressure on him, he hasn’t been cat tested yet. We haven’t seen him play with any toys and he doesn’t seem phased with us touching his stuff.

Jaffa can use the cat flap and is litter trained.

We believe once Jaffa has come out of his shell and his confidence is beaming that he will be a fantastic companion. Jaffa is best suited as an only pet in the home whist his confidence builds and cat- savvy children aged 14+.
