Harriet is our lovely 1.5-year-old black and white DSH.
A sweet and inquisitive little lady, Harriet enjoys spending time sitting outside, high up in the tower basket where she can watch the birds outside her pod. She does also have some very entertaining kittens as neighbours so she certainly enjoys being on her outside where she can watch everything that is going on!
When approached she comes straight over to investigate you before pushing her face into you for fuss! She enjoys being stroked all over, she even lets you touch her toes! Harriet also enjoys a brush, she loves rubbing her face all over the bristles and purring away, which is great as regular grooming will help her coat and skin. Despite loving fuss, Harriet isn’t too keen on being carried or restrained, but she does not react badly. Harriet will play with toys bur prefers to interact with people.
Harriet has come from a household with other cats and young children. When tested here with other cats, Harriet tends to take it all in her stride regardless of the other cat’s actions, if she is nervous, she will choose to retreat rather than react. She has been playing through the glass with the kittens in her neighbouring pod, so she may be able to live with another cat following careful introductions. Harriet could also be rehomed with children of any age and potentially even a cat-friendly dog.
