Meet Onyx, and Goblin, our beautiful 13 week old kittens.
These sweet babies were brought to our gates after being found by a garage in our local area; they arrived very scared and unsure of everything going on. Luckily, we got them into foster after their vet check and here is what their fosterer has to say about them.
“When the kittens came into foster, they were initially nervous and obviously not used to interaction with people, or to household noises e.g. television, doors closing, and would spend time hiding. In only a week they have grown in confidence and are showing typical kitten behaviour in boisterous play and accepting being handled. They love small balls, string, flirt poles, and rough and tumble play together. All the kittens eat well and reliably use their litter trays”.
Goblin was initially very shy and ran away from contact, but now accepts strokes and stretches out for a tummy rub when relaxed in his bed. He likes to drag his toys away to play with later and particularly likes to knock pens off tables. He is a gentle soul and has begun to greet us when we come in.
Onyx is a curious boy who always wants to know what’s in the coffee cup or what’s behind a door. He has become quite affectionate, greeting us and responding to strokes. He will sit on the sofa next to his human and has once sat on a lap for a while. He also accepts being held for a few moments, but would rather be playing.
These babies are looking to rehomed as a pair, they can live with children aged 8+ but as the only pets in the home.
This assessment is ongoing and subject to change.
