Blossom is a sweet but shy 2 year old DSH black and white female.
She arrived into our care very timid and underweight, and has found cattery life a little daunting. She has spent a lot of time hiding in her bed. She has already come a long way and is certainly 'Blossoming'.
She is initially timid when you approach but will poke her head out to say hello. Blossom is more nervous of new faces but after time getting to know who you are and why you are there she does come around.
Blossom really enjoys being stroked as long as you approach her slowly or let her come to you. Once she is comfortable with you then you can't stop her! Nervous as she is, she is a very sweet girl. She also enjoyed a brush once she had a good sniff of it and realised it was something safe and felt nice. Blossom will tolerate being picked up but she doesn't like to be held and will try to get away from you and get down very quickly. Once she is back on firm ground however, she is happy to come back for some more affection.
She can use her litter trays with no issue, and whilst she can use her cat flap too, she definitely prefers to spend most of her time inside.
Blossom has come from a multi-cat household so perhaps she would be best suited to being the only animal in the home so she can have the one-on-one attention and peace she deserves, and will be able to settle in a new environment easier. Blossom has not previously lived with children, and due to her timid nature, she would probably be best with a home where any children are respectful of her boundaries.
