RSPCA Preston & District VolunteeringSo you are interested in helping your local RSPCA? Becoming a volunteer with the RSPCA Preston Branch is very easy. We are always looking to take on new volunteers to help us in a variety of roles in the Animal Centre as well as in our Charity Shop, the Clinic, not to mention all the other areas of animal welfare work such as fundraising and home visiting that happen outside of the Centre. If you interested in volunteering then if you would like to arrange a chat to discuss how you can help then please email steverspcapreston@hotmail.co.uk or ring the Animal Centre and leave your contact details. I must mention at this point that the Centre does have some restrictions regarding who we accept as a volunteer. For example, if you are under 18 years, we cannot accept you as a volunteer to help with animal related roles, due to health and safety as well as insurance restrictions. However, there are other areas such as fund raising and open days that younger people can help us with. We thank you for showing an interest and look forward to meeting you to tell you more about the ways in which you can help. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED We are at present in great need of homecheckers in the Preston and Chorley District to assist with rehoming the animals. We are also in need of mature, enthusiastic volunteers to help at the Centre with cleaning and assisting staff with various other duties. |
