Success Stories!!

We all love a happy ending so here are some of our residents who have successfully found permanent homes where they are now getting the care, love and attention they deserve. If you can provide a loving and caring environment for any of our residents still needing homes please contact us.

If you have any stories or pictures of animals you have got from the Centre please forward them on to us as we always like to hear how our previous residents are getting on.

Sophie

Hello All :)

My name was 'Toffee' when I was adopted but I was renamed 'Sophie' when I went to live with my new family at just over 8 weeks. I was a very good puppy and was quickly housetrained. They say I am a very clever girl and I do as I am asked, mostly! I love to snuggie up and snore my paws off! My girls take me out for walks in the countryside by our house, I also go out in the car to places new. I am very well behaved in the car, I'm just not very good at getting into it. It makes me a little nervous to begin with, but then I settle down and tend to sleep until we get to where we are going.

My girls thought it would be nice to send you some pictures of me taken over the months I have lived with them so you can see how I am.

zzzzZZZZ and kisses to all

Lots of Love

Sophie

Daisy
Daisy

Hi,

Both myself and my partner Lee would like to say a very big thankyou to you!! Daisy (previously known as Lisa) was rehomed with us 10months ago now and I thought I'd send you a couple of pictures.

Daisy has become a cheeky, confident and very happy little girl and has settled into her new family brilliantly, it's just like we have always had her!! She sleeps, eats, plays and pretty much lives like a princess (she is in our eyes!). She was given this second chance in life thanks to the amazing job you guys did for her and others alike. Daisy has a 'best friend' in Monty who was also rehomed from you (previously known as Ricky) and she loves him to pieces and they follow each other everywhere when they are on walks together!!

On Daisy's behalf thank you and from both myself and my partner Thank You! And on Monty's behalf too, a very big thank you!!!

Kind Regards,
Lisa, Lee and Daisy xxx

Teddy
teddy

Hi everyone at Preston RSPCA

Just wanted to let you know how teddy is doing we got him from you in 2008 he is a leonberger cross german shepherd.he had a sad story and kept getting looked over because of his shear size. he is even bigger now. I can honestly say he is the most well behaved obedient loving dog we have ever owned he settled well with our 2 springer spaniels he has 150 acres to run in everyday with his two girls. so glad we found him he is loved to bits and goes everywhere with us ,a very special dog indeed. We often wonder how such a wonderfull dog could ever have ended up homeless.

Benson
benson

Hello

Just letting you know how Benson's getting on. We got him from you in May last year (he was called Wesley at the time) and he's just turned one. We took him on holiday with 20 other people and another dog over the New Year and he was brilliantly behaved and really enjoyed himself. He's still a bit cheeky but getting better at doing what he's told (unless it involves getting off the sofa) and he loves the ponies in the field near our house, although he hides when he thinks he has to go on a walk, not keen on the cold! I've attached some more recent photos of him for you to see. Thank you all again so much for giving us the opportunity to have Benson, we love him to bits and can't remember what we did without him.

Travis
travis

Hi there- just thought i'd send in an email to let you know how happy i am with Travis. He's a good boy 90% of the time but i wouldn't change him as he's such a funny character (well maybe the chewing of furniture could go!). He seems really happy, and i can't imagine him not being here! Everyone comments on how handsome he is! Wish i knew why he likes ears so much though- hes always desperate to climb up and get them lol! He loves hugs and always wants to be close to you! Heres some pictures of him in his new home.
Thanks again Andy Gillett

Winston
Winston

Just thought I would give you an update on our little Winston, who has been with us since October 10. He’s doing really well, so well in fact he thinks he owns the place. He loves attacking anything he shouldn’t and knows he can get away with murder if he just looks at me with those big puss in boots eyes.

He had his first experience of snow in December and to my amazement loved it. Jumping about in the white snow and chasing the snow flakes falling from the sky, such a perfect picture.

Thank you again for letting us have this big bundle of love in our lives.

Cornflake

Hi

Thought you would like to know that Cornflake is doing really well! She is enjoying the view from the window (when not asleep) and also likes playing with her scratch post and attacking her stick.

Royston
Royston

To everyone at the RSPCA in Preston

We have had Royston for nearly 6 months now and after a shaky, nervous start he has settled in well . He is still very scared of everything, other than stealing things off the kitchen surface! He has turned out to be a very loving and affectionate housecat.

We thought you would like to see some photos of him, one with a dirty face after a successful kitchen top adventure.

Thank you for introducing us to Royston, we would not be without him now!
